No one knows better a city than the people who live in it. So we've created a series of Walking Tours to help you discover Lisbon calmly on foot, with lots of history and always accompanied by an experienced portuguese official Tour Guide.
Did you know that the Cedar-of-Buçaco (Cupressus Lusitanica) was the first tree in Lisbon to obtain the public interest classification in 1940? And that it was then incorrectly classified, because it is not a Cedar, nor is it from Buçaco (a mountain range in the center of mainland Portugal) or even a portuguese species? In this tour of discovery for some of the most beautiful gardens in the city of Lisbon and the essences that were planted here throughout the centuries, brought from the 5 continents by the Portuguese Discoverers, we will discover these and other historical curiosities related to botany and the history of the Discoveries.

In the Mouraria district, one of the oldest in Lisbon, a place that once concentrated industries such as ceramics, tapestry and olive oil mills, we will find the oldest Jesuit school in the world, founded in the 19th century. On this tour full of history through two of Lisbon's oldest districts, you will feel the soul of Mouraria and Alfama, with the smell of fado and neighborhood life, looking for the Arab roots still visible in these typical Lisbon places.

A journey of discovery through some of the most beautiful subway stations of Lisbon. We challenge your imagination and share some of the portuguese literary and artistic history.

We propose you a travel to the past, more specifically to the 40's decade of the 20th century... During World War II, due to the portuguese political neutrality, Lisbon became a strategic zone for the espionage operations of the Axis and the Allies. Portugal sheltered spies from both factions, European refugees that were fleeing to the American continent and even royal and aristocratic families in search of exile. On this tour through the historic center of Lisbon, we will uncover fascinating stories of spies that have made the city their home and operational base during the years of this global conflict and that have helped to transform portuguese society of the time.
